Ieasa A. Nichols, MHS
Born and raised in the William Penn Housing Projects in Chester, PA., to an abusive mother and alcoholic father, author Ieasa Nichols-Harmon has spent the past ten years of her life trying to desperately right a terrible wrong. Orphaned as a young girl, Ieasa has committed her life's work to helping those in need. Her crippling experiences with both sexual and physical abuse, addiction and abandonment have become the tools that God would use to reveal to her a life of purpose. By faith, she has been transformed from a drug addicted, high school drop-out to a mother, poet, author, activist, and evangelist.
Today, Ieasa holds a Masters of Human Services degree from Lincoln University and is the founder of Beyond Bondage Ministry. Ieasa's work as a human service practitioner specializing in adolescent health and community-based interventions recently won her the appointment of Public Health Commissioner for the City of Chester, Pennsylvania.
Ieasa's hope is that, any person seeking freedom from bondage, find peace and rest for their soul. She believes that the process of spiritual healing is one that is ongoing and that deliverance from bondage comes from God and the ability to acknowledge him in all areas of our lives. Ieasa had been bound, beaten and battered, but she is no longer broken!
